Welcome! Again!

Posted: August 27, 2014 by Steven Diamond in Review

Heya everyone! Welcome to the new Elitist Book Reviews. Please pardon the sawdust, we are still getting everything cleaned up. Turns out all of those tags vanished in the import. Awesome right!? We’ll get them all straightened out.

But yeah! Welcome to our new digs! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, just shoot us an email.

Thank you all for your continued support. We appreciate it tremendously. Enjoy the reviews. Tell your friends and family.

Most importantly, read. Read everything you can.

Great effort! Really liking the design, and WordPress is simply a much better end-user experience.

However! Search and/or content sorting needs serious work. The list of authors back on Blogspot, while incomplete, served a very useful purpose of allowing visitors to quickly navigate all reviews for books of a certain author. And now try searching for, say, Scott Lynch here. The Republic of Thieves review is the 4th result down…

In any case, congrats on the move, it was long overdue 🙂

    • Yep. When we migrated over here, we lost all the tags for all the authors and the genres. We also lost the Elitist University pages, oddly. Dog at our homework?

So yeah, we are going back through over 600 posts to add in the correct tags and what not. Like I said in the post, it will take us a bit to get it all updated. The joys of website migration!

Glad you like the new look!
